  • I am a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist and have been working as a nutrition professional for over 15 years

  • I am the co-founder of Diabetes Digital, a virtual nutrition platform for people with diabetes and prediabetes

  • I have a passion for helping people from diverse backgrounds transform the way they eat, make peace with food and live a healthy life that they love

  • I've worked as an outpatient dietitian at UCSF and Eastmont Wellness Center. I've also worked as a Clinical Dietitian at the largest hospital in Brooklyn and held a 3-year stint as a Senior Nutritionist for the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. 

  • I'm the co-author of the 28-Day Plant-Powered Health Reboot and A Diabetes Guide to Enjoying the Foods of the World, both emphasizing an inclusive approach to balanced eating 

  • 12 years ago, I co-founded the healthy living website, Food Heaven (and the Food Heaven Podcast) which explores the intersections of nutrition, food, culture & body image

  • As a nationally recognized dietitian, I am a go-to nutrition expert for many media outlets. I've penned countless articles about food, health, and nutrition for publications like, Buzzfeed, and Today's Dietitian

  • Last year, I was honored when SELF magazine named me one of 17 dietitians to go-to for truly trustworthy advice, and this year I started an official health & nutrition column for the magazine

  • I've spoken about nutrition, health, and wellness at places like Essence Beauty Carnival and the New York Stock Exchange

  • This year I was named Member of the Year by the Bay Area Dietetic Association
