Here's What's Really Going On....
The reason you've been struggling for so long is because you are a victim of diet culture. Diet culture is a toxic belief system that equates thin to good and fat to bad. This is why so many people in this culture (especially women) spend the majority of their lives trying to control their food intake to shrink their bodies.
The problem with this approach (other than it being exhausting) is that it always backfires. Science shows that the more we restrict our intake, the more we binge. That binging leads to shame and guilt, which in turn causes even more restriction. This approach can even health negative physical and mental health consequences. Studies suggest that weight cycling (chronic yo-yo dieting) may be harmful for our cardiovascular health.
The cycle will continue unless you have the tools to break it. Through the concepts of intuitive eating, I've helped hundreds of clients break that cycle and get their life back. I can help you, too.

Hi, I'm Jessica! I am a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator who works with people from diverse backgrounds to improve their health while healing their relationship with food. Through my private practice, Jessica Jones Nutrition, I help clients with eating disorders, disordered eating, and chronic disease move towards food peace and body respect. I am the co-founder of Food Heaven, an online resource dedicated to exploring the intersections of nutrition, food, wellness, culture, and body image. I also co-host the popular Food Heaven Podcast, which has over 2 million downloads to date.
